PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Welcome to the 127th year of the Yorkton Exhibition Association!

In 2010 we continue the tradition of promoting the “Family Fun “that the Yorkton Fair and other annual events are so well known for. Bringing Friends and Family together…creating memories that will last for a lifetime.

We have added the Yorkton Dodge CPCA Chuckwagon Finals to our list of annual events entering into a 3 year contract beginning 2010. Toyota Harness Racing continues to grow each year having Yorkton known as the “Harness Racing Capital of Saskatchewan” and the place to be on a Friday night! This is one more way we have found to showcase the new Para Mutual & Concession Building, and fully utilize this beautiful facility to its max.  As we move forward; we continue to strive to retain the agricultural traditions that have been successful for over a hundred and twenty seven years.  Our Grain Millers Harvest Showdown has become one of the largest Agriculture shows in the area; showcasing the Yorkton New Holland Rodeo and our Mosaic Agriculture Education program which continues to prosper each year.

We are excited to share our past history of the Yorkton Exhibition Association and how we have evolved.  Our history book has a very detailed progression as we evolved to the entity we are today. We welcome the new changes to ensure our agricultural heritage continues to service Yorkton and the Parkland area for many years in the future.

You are our backbone and we would not be “the Hub of Community Events” that we are without you. We thank our patronage; as again; you are the reason so many volunteer their time to be sure that the Yorkton Exhibition Association is strong and well for many years to come.
